ToDay is the Birthday of 600 from Thel
Fair and warm wind SoW.
Had a tuft of a stomach fur of a rabbit in my rat trap under the barn on the hill.
Saw a flock of a dozen or 15 yellow finches in the popular tree up by the barn.
Victoria, Eric, and Mrs. Holman were in to see Thel this morning.
Finished trimming around the clothes yard and fired the fires for Mary and Nellie.
Jack ran a rabbit this afternoon and I shot at it running and missed it.
Thel and Ski worked up at the store today.
So warm that there were flies around out of doors.

Does anyone know which store Thel and Ski worked at? I know there were four or five little stores, Bramhall’s included, in Chiltonville at the time….

It was Holmans Store, which became Bramhalls. Earl Holman , Thels brother was the owner at the time.
Thanks, Tim and Jessie (Ski)

Rev. 1 :
Holman owned the business…rented the building probably from Bramhall.

Thank you so much, Tim..and Jessie! I really appreciate all input into the blog…thought it was probably what we know as Bramhall’s, but just didn’t want to take it for granted.
