ToDay is the Birthday of ___________

Fair and cool, wind North West.

Shoes are on the ration list now.

I was going to take down a big pine tree in the grove but it was too cold.

Did some painting and some cleaning up in my shanty.

The Russians are still knocking the tar out of the Germans.

Eleanor got a letter from Alex Smith. He is in England.

His family live up at Long Pond, he used to come here a lot with Milt Vaughn. They used to keep people in this neighborhood awake at night banging around on motorcycles.

This has been a tough winter around here for game birds, so much snow and cold weather.

There is a few spots around of bare ground and it thaws a little in the middle of the day.

I fixed the ceiling in the kitchen.
