ToDay is the Birthday of

Fair and warm, wind So.

Got up at 6 a.m. Ate breakfast and rode to town with Eleanor. She is on duty for today in conjunction with the State Guard at the Civilian Defense Headquarters at the National Bank. I went on duty at the back of the Bank at 7:30 and stayed there till 9:30 then out company pulled out and went up 44 thru Carver, Middleboro, Bridgewater to Brockton. Here we were on duty till 3:30 pm then dismissed.

Paul gave me a ride home from the Armory.

Thelma and Ski came up from the pond and said they saw Harry.

When I went up on the hill I saw Harry and his wife and stayed up there till they all went back to Boston.
