ToDay is the Birthday of

Fair and hot, wind So.

Eleanor brought me to work this morning.

Wilt and Jubbie came in at noon and we put a bed on his truck and went down to the camp. We went by the way of Jordan and Long Pond Road.

I got a couple of strikes on bass but lost out on them.

Found a song sparrow’s nest near the boat landing on the point.

Not very many people around the pond.

We could see a fire in the woods somewhere between our camp and town.

Milt and Jubbie decided to stay up all night. It’s cloudy tonight.

“I fear nothing but doing wrong.” Sterne
