ToDay is the Birthday of

Showers light, wind west.

Chet and I did a lot of cleaning up today.

Mrs. H and I took a load of empty bottles to Harry Bradford’s.

Saw a rabbit on the front drive.

Found six more tomato worms.

Tonight I rode over to the rier to go fishing and saw Geo Moon. He had a 3 lb pickerel and he let me take his boat. I rowed aroun the upper pond three times using a different bait each time and got two striker both on a bass fly.

Rained while I was fishing.

The mosquitoes were fierce.

All the folks are out, I expect they have gone to the pictures.

Mrs. Hestrall has had her baby, it is a girl.

Mrs. H read me a letter from Harry.

“Don’t despair of a student if he has one clear idea.” Emmons
