242nd day- 123 days follow

Rain again today and cloudy.

The Parafax Gas left a tank up on the hill.

Ski has gone up to Brockton.

Rained so hard Wednesday that I think the very young birds were drowned in their nests. I noticed that the hummingbirds and catbirds have.

Stopped in at Pick’s on the way home and got the bond I am going to give Betty Covell for a wedding present.

Geo. was here for supper.  I went with him up to the hospital to see Eleanor and her baby.  They are both fine.

I picked four muskmelons today, that makes six so far.

Percy Finney was over again tonight working on his gas lantern.
