148th day- 217 days follow

Kingston Site

Fair + Warm

Worked all day on the flower beds.

Mr. H. and Harry were on the hill when I got there this A.M.

Geo. Crowell came up and they all went to Martha’s Vineyard.

After supper Bill came up and he and I went out to the Kingston Site.

I dug out the square next to the one I dug Saturday and I found two pieces of pottery and one triangular poor white quartz point. Very poor.

When I got down to the subsoil I found a lancelot type point 2 in. 11/16 long, very short. ½ wide, made of red quartzite, a beautiful point.

I got my fire hearth all uncovered and it is (a) very poor constructed one compared with some I have uncovered.

The fellow from Carver was there.
