199th day- 166 days follow

Fair + Hot

There is a hell of a raft of Japanese beetles on the hill.  I have caught slews of them by hand.

Thel and I took a ride down to the camp and Bubbie + Polly came and got some water and a cot.  They are staying for the weekend.

I tried my darndest to get the big bass that struck last night, couldn’t raise him.

We got home at 10 P.M.

There was a fire in the house where they used to sell lobsters in Manomet. Didn’t look as if it had done much damage.
