Fair and Cooler.
Went up on the hill and fixed the heater.
Took a walk along Warren ave. up to Eleanor’s.
Had dinner there and Geo. and I went out to see if we could find some swamp blueberries. Looked up in back of Haire’s. Nothing there. Then we went on up in back of Pete Chouteau’s where Bill and I dig. We found and got about 2 ½ quarts there.
Saw a young rabbit and a woodchuck.
The big white oak in the old Bill Henry farm where I worked for 9 years is almost dead. I once dug a spring for Cour to drink from under it.
I am sorry to see it die as it was up to last year the finest of vergish whit oaks in town.
Bowled tonight with Mr. Hand, Harry, and Dimp.
