Jubbie didn’t come to work this afternoon.
At noon I took a walk down to the Beach Club to see Mr. Delano. He is putting up a wind break around the tennis court.
There was a car stuck at the foot of brook hill at noon. It was there when I came home from work at night. It had a broken rear axle.
Did a little shooting after supper.
Took a ride over to Walder’s after supper and gave the kid in the broken down car a couple of sandwiches and a bottle of Pepsi.
They are still there at dark.
The hummingbird has only one baby and that is ready to leave the nest any time now
