228th day- 137 days follow

Cooler + Showers

Harry and I took the farm truck and took two beds over to Duxbury to Geo. Crowell’s cottage.

Then we went up to pick up Lewis Dupree and from there over to the dig.

Harry, Lewis and I worked on a new square together.  The top soil was full of chips and flakes.  I found the top half of a plummet and one white quartz arrowhead, lots of nails, and pieces of clay pipes.

Charlie Strickland gave me a ride home.

After supper Thel and I took a ride down to the camp.  We followed the Chief of Police from the Manomet Four Corners over to White Horse Beach to what was supposed to be a drowning, a woman in a power boat.

We went down to the camp and visited till 9:15 P.M.

Much cooler tonight.
