Fair + hot
Jubbie and I mowed brush on the fire strip in back of Short’s.
After dinner Thel and I took a ride down to White Island Pond to Bill Whiting’s camp. Bill and I went out on the pond fishing for about four hours. We caught a fine mess of red perch and Bill got one eel. I skinned it and gave it to a woman in another boat.
We had supper with Bill and Lottie and stayed till about 10 P.M.
