238th day- 127 days follow

Hot + Showers

This afternoon we had our first mean thunder storm.

Jubbie took the afternoon off to go fishing on the outside, then we had a thunder squall that was a hummer, regular little twister.

The four Bulens and Brad Martin of Vermont came over from Duxbury to have supper here.

The youngest boy was sick when he got here, so after supper they called Dr. Putnam.  He got here about 10:30 P.M. and said the boy had an infected throat.

He looked at the older boy’s throat and Martin’s thumb.

Thel and I got up early and came home in the fog.
