245th day- 120 days follow

Cooler + Showers

Jubbie didn’t work today.

Thel and Ski were both home.

I rode over to town with Martha after work and went up to Dr. Douglas’s and had the stump of the tooth I broke last week [removed.]

Harry went back to Boston and left his dog.  It was out hunting and we couldn’t find him.

Bill and Lottie dropped in for an hour before dark.

Rusty Rounds gave me a ride home from town.

Bill liked my Metate* stone and its grinding stone.

School starts again tomorrow.

All of the Hornblowers stayed down last night.

Harry told me he bought a leather coat at the auction Saturday night and gave it to me.  I haven’t seen it yet.

*ed. Note. A metate stone is a stone with a concave upper surface used as the lower millstone for grinding grains, especially corn.
