263rd day- 102 days follow

(Arrowheads)

Fair + Cool

Harry and Dimp + Hank left the place at 7 A.M. for Martha’s Vineyard.  Martha went too.

This has been the coolest day we have had yet, but it seems good.

Priscilla Rich came in and gave her $2.00 for the Salvation Army Drive.

Bill came up after dinner and we went down to Sagamore and looked over some land for arrowheads and didn’t find even a flake.

We came back to our Browne dig and Mr. Griffin came down there, the owner of the land, and we had quite a long talk with him, and found him a very sociable fellow.

I got one extra fine triangular green flint triangular arrowhead and one quartzite stemmed base, had been a well point.

I went up to George’s to supper.

Thel, Ski, Bud, and I took a ride up to Middleboro, but found the stores all closed.
