We all got up at 6:30 A.M. and by 9:15 we were on our way up to Lake Winnipesaukee in N.H. One of the finest days I ever saw, clear and warm.
We stopped to see some snakes.
We saw Alton where Oscar and Frieda spent their honeymoon, stopped there at an antique shop.
Got a State Guard service button from the Governor last Friday.
We stopped for a late dinner at Alma’s. It was fine.
Got home to Frieda’s at 7P.M. and got a call from Plymouth to come home quick.
Ski had a terrible experience at 3 A.M. this morning. She woke up and someone was creeping along the upper hall towards her bedroom door. She got up and threw two of her shoes and yelled at him and threw one of her shoes and chased him out of the house.
I got the group together and made a complaint to the police.
