This A.M. I went over to Eel River bridge and rowed up to the Browne site and I found one fine white quartz stemmed type arrowhead, two pieces of soapstone from different pots, one rim piece is fine material , one white quartz scraper, one triangular white quartz point, and three butts.
Rowed the boat down to the Hornblower’s boat house and put the boat inside.
Saw two woodcocks and two ruffled grouse up on the hill.
At noon I had a man from Manomet up on the roof to see about fixing it up.
Thel was over to Evelyn’s twice today. Her father is almost gone, so Thel is going to help Henry at the store so Evelyn can stay at home to look after him.
Stopped in to see Pic and the boys on my way home from work.
Charlie Fraser and George D. are working on the new house.
