Arrowheads
Geo. and the girls came at 9:00 AM. Bob, Gretchen, Karen came up for an hour this morning.
Geo. took me over to H.H. cow barn and I hunted for 1 ½ hours. I found the point of a large red spear point, two broken arrowheads, two pieces of English flint.
And one late 16th or early 17th century English clay pipe. It is a good specimen.
After dinner Thel, Eleanor, Geo, the two kids, and I went up to Carver to give the kids a ride on Ellis Atwood’s narrow gauge train, and both of them liked the ride. Saw Gilly Harlow + family there.
From there we went up to Taunton to see the Xmas decorations. After we got there, there were thousands of cars there + it took us 55 minutes to go around Taunton Square, and it is a wonderful sight, really beautiful.
