49th day- 317 days follow

(Cedar waxwings)

Took a ride on the bus out to Joseph Holmes’ place in Kingston.

Looked over the loam piles on his old estate, didn’t find a thing.  Two fellows had hunted on it yesterday.

Out by the lumber yard one of the school buses hit a hole in the road and crossed the sidewalk and smashed the front pretty much on a couple of trees.

I saw a flock of about a dozen cedar waxwings today eating some Hawthorn berries.

Jubbie came to work this afternoon.

Thel was off to Brockton shopping all the afternoon.

I have almost finished up trimming the vines around the house.

Thawed a lot today and it is quite muddy.

Thel went over to her club tonight.

I called up Lottie and told her why I wouldn’t be able to get over tonight.
