65th day- 301 days follow

Fair + Cold

Four above zero the coldest March I ever saw.

When I came home at noon Thel gave me a ride down from the hill.  She had Eleanor and her girls in the car.  They stayed to dinner.

Stopped into see Pick and the boys on the way home from work.

The mouth of the river is frozen over again in the harbor.

Barbra Palavanchi came up here for the evening while Thel and I went up to the church to the Forum.

After supper Geo. came down and took me over to town.  We picked up Bertha Lee and a friend and dropped them off at the church.  Then we came home and took Ski and Bud up to George’s and got Eleanor and we went to the church to the forum.  Dr. Dennett of M.I.T. was speaker and he was fine.

His talk was fine, and his answer period was good too.

After it was over we all went over to town and dropped off Bertha and her friend, then went out north and got some peaches, then went up to George’s and had a lunch.

Gus Lesnevich knocked out Billy Fox in the first round.
