74th day-  292 days follow

Geese

Fair + Warmer

Wind S. for a change. Feels fine.

Geo. Stef. and I took a walk up to the store for the paper.

I went up by the hill.  Mr. H. + Mr. Bubbins were there.  Geo. Crowell + his boy came in.  Mr. H. gave me a ride home.

Called up Mrs. C. H. Sherman.

Called up John B Finney.

Just now saw Old Joe Mentzle go by on his daily hike.  He must be creeping up on 80, and he can walk like a man 30.

This afternoon Rip Bullen, Bill Fowler, and Charlie Sherman came in for 2 ½ hours looking over my collection and especially the pottery.  Rip left first for Andover and Bill + Charlie left at 5:30 P.M.

I heard a flock of geese this afternoon.

6:30 P.M. Eddie Hathaway and Rodney Nickerson brought down a double bed from Eddie’s and we put it up in Ski’s room.

Bob and Gretchen came in this evening.  Bob and I played 6 games of cribbage.  We each wone three games.  From here they went over to Pick’s.

Bud and Ski were here all evening.
