120th day- 246 days follow

Fair + Cool

Sent some things to Boston by Arthur.

Lewis Fugazzi was up on the hill and put up some new shades.

I painted the pool today.

After supper Thel and I went up to George’s and he + I spent what was left of daylight digging out the pit we found in back of the sandbank.

I[t] was a bit pit 4 ½ feet deep and the same across, and round.

We found two poor arrow points, lots of ashes, shell, some bone, three shards of pottery, and a large crude chisel.

George’s sister was visiting them tonight.
