123rd day- 243 days follow

(Fire)

Fair + Warmer

Ski’s birthday today.

Took a ride to drop Eric, Davene and David at Sunday school.  Then up on the hill, and up to see Eleanor and George.

After Sunday school we all went down to the camp.

I painted the boat aluminum.

We came home early in the afternoon.

After Dave’s family left for Wilmington, .Bud, Ski, Thel + I went over to Bert’s for supper.  We had broiled lobsters and it was a good supper.

First large forest fire this afternoon.  We saw it, the smoke, when we were at the camp.  On the way home we met four fire trucks on their way to the fire.  The radio said it was down by Camp Edwards, and burned over 600 acres, and apparatus from fifteen towns were there to help.
