127th day- 239 days follow
(Arrowheads)
Partly Cloudy Cold Wind.
Made up some small plant flats this morning.
Worked with Jubbie on the wood pile this afternoon.
The women worked up on the hill this morning.
Thel went up and got George + Eleanor and the kids and brought them here for supper.
George and I took a ride up to the Browne Site and we hunted it over. I found one extra fine real flint side notched arrowhead and one fine white quartz snub nosed scraper, and one broken felsite arrow tip.
We came home and took Eleanor and the kids home
When George and I were on our way up to the Browne dig a [?] whaler of a house rat ran across the road just this side of Clifford Road. I jumped out of the car and tried to hit him with my hunting stick, hit at it and missed, then it ran under the car and me after it. I saw a car coming at me and dodged but fell down and took the skin off my lame knee, about the size of a silver dollar. .
