(Hummingbird)

Cool some rain and Showers

Went over to see Stephen Treglawn.

Bud was up here this morning.

Thel saw the Marsh hawk yesterday and the hummingbird today.

Steve gave me some Heliotropes for the flower beds.

Called up Mrs. Rich at noon and told her where I put her house keys.

After supper Thel and I took a ride up to the lots [where] Al Holman and Bubbie Nickerson are going to build their new homes.  There is a bulldozer grading the whole lot.

I went over to Niges Pond to fish and it is so shallow that I couldn’t throw the bait into more than a foot of water, so we went over to Island Pond to try it there, but it rained so hard that I quit.

So we came back to Eleanor’s and Thel and Eleanor went  over to the Johnson Stand and I stayed at the house till they came back.  George was working there.
