Worked on the seedling beds + lawns all day.
The women worked today.
Beauregard came up and fixed the lawn lights and put a new gadget on the furnace.
On my way home tonight I stopped in to see Pic for a few minutes. She told me Ruth Finney told her Mrs. Morton was going down to Virginia to see Ruthie and that Eben Thatcher was going down with her, and that they are going to be married there.
I stopped at Dutton’s on my way home from work and left the keys in the porch light shade by the ocean side door.
After supper I and Thel took a ride up to the Stefani’s and I took a look along the Hotel bank and found nothing.
Then I went over to the Johnson Stand. George and Mr. Melville were working there getting it ready for opening it up.
Met the girl that is to be the hostess this summer and one of the waitresses.
Bud and Ski were in here tonight.
