Cloudy and hot

Jubbie and I worked down on the drive.

The folks got down on the hill tonight.

Worked all the evening on the screens and screen doors.

Sat up and listened to the Joe Lewis and Joe Wolcott heavyweight championship fight.

Joe Lewis won by a knockout in the eleventh round, for which I was very glad as I wanted to have Joe Lewis retire undefeated.

Without any doubt he has been the finest type of man of any color or nationality that ever was the heavyweight champion.

A fine American, good luck to him.
