Fair + Hot
George came down and got me at 9 A.M. and I went up to his house till 11 A.M. Then he took me over to see Dr. Haggart at his cottage.
He took a look at my knee and said he thought it was coming along fine.
We went back to his house and ate dinner.
Then all of us went down to the wharf and waited for the boat to come in.
Then we all took the boat for the trip down to and through the canal, and it sure was a fine trip, and everybody enjoyed it immensely.
There was a lot of people on board that I knew. Ada and Wanetta’s mother went.
When we got home to George’s Thel was there to bring me home.
Ski took the horse for a run tonight.
The two girls up on the hill took the trip on the boat.
