(Arrowheads)

Fair + Cool

After dinner I rode my wheel up to the Browne ig, and I think I ought to have had a rabbit’s foot for luck, for all I found was one small cherd [shard] of nontempered pottery and the quartz pieces of arrowheads.

On the way home I stopped at River St. Bridge.  There was a fellow fishing off the bridge, and Phil Covell and their kids bait fishing, one kid lost off a large bass, and Phill caught some roaches while I was there.

I stopped and had a chat with Mr. Delano on the bridge.  He had been working up at Geo. Crowell’s.  Saw Freddie Moon and talked to him awhile.  Fred is a fine man.  Saw Harry and Dimp on Cliff St. just before I got home.

May called up and told Thel that Gertie and her new husband are up at one of Phamie Davis’s cabins.

Thel bought a bunch of lobsters for the party up at May’s tomorrow.
