Chief Justice Hughes died on the Cape last night.
Saw a sparrow hawk up on the hill today.
After dinner I took a walk down to Manter’s Point, saw Jr. Manter and Ralph, and Ralph showed me a cliff swallow’s nest under the porch of Dr. Kellley’s house.
It is a most interesting nest about as large as a big musk melon, all of mud and almost perfectly round with a small hole to enter and leave by.
Took a walk down to the beach and along up as far as the Beach Park Bathhouse. Then up to Eleanor’s and stayed till Thel came out of work.
Helped Ski and Bud this evening.
