Fair + Cool
Jubbie didn’t work today. He stayed down at the pond part of the day.
He went to the P.O. to enlist but found out that he will have to go to Boston.
Martha has gone to Bennington to enter a girls’ school, her mother drove her up.
I sprayed Semeson on all the greens, for brown patch.
When I came home from work Thel and I took a ride down to the camp. We took some food and ate supper with Dave’s family.
Dave pulled up the well pipe and put on a new point. Boy what an improvement.
He has painted the camp + the porch floors.
He and I took a row around the pond trolling two plugs. Dave got one small mouth bass off Eben Shaw’s.
We stopped at Dave’s till 9 P.M. Then went over to Archie’s a big crowd there, we left there at 11 P.M.
