258th day- 108 days follow

Fair + Cool

Thel and I rode up to Brockton and met Archie and Cozette at the parkway.  Archie and I took a walk downtown and we ran into Jubbie.  He stayed with us for about an hour, then he left us as he was leaving with a group of volunteers for Camp Dix, N.J.

We all went up to the fairgrounds and stayed till 11 P.M.  The fair is far from what it was when I was young.

We saw a couple of Whipple’s bulls win championship honors.

The Boss owed Jubbie $29.92 for last week’s pay, and I got a letter from him with a check for $100.00.

A woman was shot several times last night in Town Square.  She did in the Jordan Hospital this A.M.
