273rd day- 93 days follow

Fair + Warm  77 in the shade

We got here just before sunset and have a grand view of the mountains in front of us.

We rode all day through very different kind of country than yesterday for the inland is far different from the Maine shoreline.

Saw more farming today, potatoes and beans seem to be the main crops.

Before we came up into Maine I had heard it was terrible dry from the drought, but couldn’t have realized how dry the land is without seeing.
