277th day- 89 days follow

(Arrowheads)

Cloudy + Cold

This morning I took a ride up to Mr. Bubbins’ plowed land and hunted the whole place.  I didn’t find as much as I had thought I would, only one fair arrowhead and about a dozen broken ones, of which I gave most of them to a little boy who followed me around as I hunted.

From there I rode over to the Browne Site.  Here I found one nice piece of soapstone, one coal black arrowhead, side notched, a really beautiful specimen., one very large scraper, and several broken pieces.

Thel and I listened to the ball game this afternoon.

After the game we took a ride over to town and got a qt. of ice cream, so we went up to see Eleanor and the kids.  We had supper with them.

Ski and Bud went to the movies.
