This has been a big day in baseball. The Boston Braves lost the World Series to Cleveland by a score of 4 and 3.
Saw two small snakes and a large hawk and several crows up on the hill.
Ski had her day off.
Short has had the ground around his house bulldozed off level and had new loam put on to make lawns.
Mary the cook on the hill came back this A.M.
I wish I could get back up to the Site and do some more digging.
Thel said they have located a woman to take care of Grandma Holman.
Mrs. H. is still in the striper derby on Martha’s Vineyard.
After supper Thel took me over to see Bill. He is improving slowly. While I was there Murphy and Dick Bent came in to visit.
Thel came back after me at 9 P.M. and stayed till 10 P.M.
Braves lost today’s game and the series.
