Took a walk along the beach from the foot of the drive over as far as the Beach Club. The water isn’t shut off there yet.
I found one fine ovate two inch dark grey felsite down where they had dug a short trench for electric wires.
Then I went over to town and went down to the Rock to see how the Plantation House is coming along.
I got a ride back to the hill with a couple from New Mexico, who were on a vacation tour.
After supper Thel and I took a ride up [to] No. Abington and spent the evening with Oscar and Frieda Ekberg.
Two other couples came in just after we got there. They stayed as long as we did till 11 P.M.
We got home at 11:45 P.M.
First ice this morning. Flower garden is gone for the year.
