297th day- 69 days follow

(Arrowheads)

Cloudy, warmer

When I went to work this morning for the first time I didn’t take my gun, and I jumped a pheasant just off my own garden. It flew over to Victoria’s.

Mrs. H. told me Mr. H. was in a hospital for a week for a rest. He had a slight heart attack.

I worked all the morning on the flower garden.

After dinner Thel and I took a ride up to the Browne Site.  We found five small pieces of pottery, two nice pieces of a soapstone pot, one poor white quartz arrowhead and a few pieces of broken stuff.

Tonight Thel, Ski, and I took a ride up to Manomet to Carl’s and we had supper there, saw several people we knew there.

From there we took a ride over to see Bill and Lottie, and spent the evening.  Charlie Sherman was there arranging Bill’s artifacts in his new cabinets.
