(Arrowheads)
Fair + Warm
This morning I went over to town with Harry. He went to a Director’s meeting of the Plantation Project.
I took a walk down to the new plantation house. It is just now finished and the yard cleaned.
The directors all came down and looked it over.
Professor Morrison came down with 19 Harvard history students. He is one of the project sponsors.
After dinner I took a ride up to the Browne dig and I got one very good red triangular point and one small piece of good graphite, several broken arrowheads and one fine specimen of worked antler. It was some kind of tool. I don’t know what looked like this. (see diagram on above diary page)
It has a sawed in notch on the small end, with a (?) hole drilled 2 in. deep in the center of the cut off end.
