319th day- 47 days follow

(Arrowheads)

Geo. came in this morning and gave me a ride up to the store.

Dave called up this morning and he is now living in Winthrop and wants to come here for Thanksgiving.

Ski had her day off today.

This afternoon Thel and I took a ride up as far as Chris. Swift’s bog and we hunted for ½ an hour and I found two small white quartz bits, and one good tiny triangular stemmed point white quartz.

We did not find a single fresh deer track today, the last time we were there the place was all cut up with them.

On the way home we saw a flock of Brant flying over Whipple’s that I estimated to be over 200.

When we got home we saw another flock of about 60.

Bud and his boy were up here all the afternoon.

I called John Finney about some loam, salt hay, and manure for the hill.

Mrs. H. called me up and said Geo. Crowell was putting some turkeys in the barn cellar.
