325th day- 41 days follow

Rain + Mild

It sure did rain hard today in showers.

I called up Bill at noon and he is feeling low again as his great toe just got well. The two toes next to it are turning black.

This afternoon Thel gave me a ride up to Stone’s field. When I got there Dick Bent, Charlie Sanderson, and his son-in-law were there and had given the best part a good going over.  They had one fine point, a wide side notched dark felsite.  I found one fair specimen probably a stemmed knife.

Dick gave me a ride home.

Charlie said Bill Sherman had just found 20 arrowheads and a bone awl on the piece we looked over, if he found that many he sure was in luck.

I called up Bill Whiting and he is not going to the meeting tonight.

I was lucky tonight in getting a ride over to town.  No bus.

We had a spaghetti supper at the M.A.S. meeting.

Charlie Sherman gave me a ride home.
