335th day- 31 days follow

Fair + Cooler

Carl Bolt was up on the hill this A.M. to find out if I intended to go deer hunting next week.

Raked up more rubbish.

At noon I got a couple of books from Harry Hornblower, one Boston Business, the other the Plimoth Plantation.

After dinner I went over to the river and rowed my boat up to the Browne Site and dug for 2 hours and found two beautiful perfectly round gaming stones in an ash and shell pit, ,and three parts of different arrowheads.  Also in one small shell pit I found the largest cockle shell I ever saw and it is in perfect shape.

I brought my boat down to the H. H. boat house and left it for the winter.

After supper I took a walk over to see Pic and Walder was out. A friend of Pick’s was there from Manomet.  I stayed till 11:30 P.M.
