364th day- 2 days follow

Warmer + light rain

Saw Mr. Hornblower, Harry and Geo. Crowell up on the hill this A.M.

Mr. H. had a new gun a Browning Automatic 12 gauge.  It is a fine looking firearm.

Harry has a meeting of the new Plimouth Plantation up at Powder Horn Pond.  He showed me the bill from Malaguti for building the house on the Park by the Rock, and it is $3771.09, some price when the architect’s cut is added on.

Sawed logs and piled them up in the grove.

Got in touch with Pillsbury of the Tel. Co. and he said I have to dig the trench for the tel. cable.  Has to be 18 inches deep.  Doesn’t make sense to me as there is absolutely no reason to think that the cable ever would be plowed up.
