Saw Mr. H., Harry, and Geo. Crowell on the hill this A.M. Harry went back to Boston.
I dug all day on the trench. It is 12 in deep all the way now.
Mr. H. went over and got his hunting license and he got one for me too.
Bill Whiting took a ride up on the hill this morning. He is feeling pretty good and has got his story all smoothed out, and ready to be typed.
The tel. men were up on the hill this afternoon, and promised to put in the cable tomorrow. I hope they get it in before it starts to freeze again, so I will be able to fill the trench.
The masons started to build Ski’s chimney today.
