37th day- 328 days follow

Partly Cloudy

We all got up late this morning. Geo. was here when we came down stairs.

He gave me a ride up to see Cleft Rock.  The town men have already cleared off a lot of brush around it.

After dinner Oscar and Freida came in and stayed a couple of hours.

Then I went over to Pick’s with them and stayed a couple of  hours there.

Then they left.  I stayed till 4 P.M.

Ski went over to answer the tel. For Bud.

Last August I caught rabbit under the piazza up on the hill.  It had been eating off plants in the flower bed.

When I found it in the trap one hind leg was broken, so I got Jubbie to hold it while I cut off the foot and bandaged it up and let it go by the barn.

All summer I wondered if it was still alive.

On this last snow I tracked it from the woodpile and around the house.
