Went up on the hill this A.M. and I met Thel at the foot of the drive, and we took Grandma and Cozette for a ride.
We went down across the Sagamore Bridge and down through the center of the Cape.
We came out at Weano and then Monomoy Beach and from there on to Provincetown.
We couldn’t find any place open there to eat.
Going around the loupe I stopped at the big beach tree that I cut my name on in 1931.
We looked all the way home for a place to eat, but had to wait till we got to Howard Johnson’s at the Bourne bridge.
We got home about 6 P.M.
Thel went up to Eleanor’s to see what Melville had to say yesterday.
