96th day- 269 day follow

Arrowheads

Rain + Clearing P.M.

I don’t think I ever saw it rain harder than it did today.

Rode my wheel up to the hill this afternoon.

I found a dead partridge close to the buckwheat patch up on the hill.  It had been killed right on the edge of my path.  There was only a little eaten off its back.

After work I rode up to Bubbins’s and hunted a little over an hour.  I found a lot of broken stuff, amongst it was one good large red side scraper, one large poor chest (?) piece.

And in Bubbins’s kitchen garden I found one very good arrowhead.

Bud has two new Kaiser cars.  He made a deal with Len. Swift.
