108th day- 257 days follow

Cloudy + Cold

Worked around the cutting garden all day.

After work tonight I stopped in to see Pick and the kids.  Pick has had a couple of weeks of ear ache, and she has lost eight pounds.

Tomorrow in the Marathon race.  I wonder if Cote will win today again this year.  I think he will if he is in as good condition as he was last year.

The baseball season started today for the 1949 season.

Thel and Grandma went over to Cozette’s to a brush party for Barbara Palavanchi.

Thelma, Cozette, and Thel have gone out for supper, and to spend the evening.

Walder called me up and said the Insurance Adjuster allowed the Plantation $1,150 for the fire damage to the first First House.
