119th day- 246 days follow

(Arrowheads)

Fair + Cool

Almost a frost last (night) up on the hill.

Arthur came over early and got a lot of flowers I had picked.  He took them up to Boston for Mrs. H.

After work I rode my wheel up to the Browne site and dug for two hours cleaning out a tremendous shell pit.  It was mostly sea clams and a lot of them whole.  All I found was a slew of bones, mostly deer, and the jaws of a small dog or fox, and turtle + fish bones.

All I found was one nice piece of the rim of a decorated pot.

Thel came up on the hill this afternoon and got some  ivy and a few herbs.

After supper Mrs. H. called up and said they were all on their way down here, so I will see them in the morning.

Bill called up at noon and made a date to go after red perch tomorrow afternoon.
