This has been one swell day, the warmest yet.
Transplanted some more plants.
Stopped in to see Pic on the way home from work. Robin Briggs was there.
After I got my supper I went out in the yard and shot a few arrows. One went over into Fraser’s yard. I went over to get it, so I climbed up on the fence so I could see better, and almost under me was the largest big black snake I ever saw. It was stretched out full length on some rubbish and it wasn’t the least bit afraid of me, so I jumped down and stood a couple of feet from it to give it a good look over. I looked it over for about five minutes and I estimated its full length to be 6 ½ feet long.
