130th day- 235 days follow

(House cleaning)

Rain + Cool

North easter.  This is the storm we get every spring when the apple trees are in bloom.

Maynard painted some furniture in the barn this morning, and I put milorganite on the bowling green.

This afternoon I trimmed on the cutting garden hedge.

About 4 P.M. Mary Greenwood and another girl came in to look at the gardens and in the apple tree over the horseshoe pool their was a robin all tangled up in a piece of linen thread all tied up on a limb of the apple tree and wound around its legs.  We took it down and took the thread off, but I am afraid that it will not live.

Thel and her helpers were up on the hill today for the first day of house cleaning.
